There are two international airports close to Washington, Dulles International Airport and Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport. Both are fine for travel to NOAA. Information on connections to Washington Centre and NOAA can be found below (local organisation).

As an alternative a second list is provided below, listing less expensive, but also less recommended hotels (further away from the meeting rooms - taxi required, less recommendable area).
Please make sure you book your hotel/use the government rate in time. All hotels take online bookings and have rooms available.

Coffee/tea breaks and lunches
Half an hour before the meeting starts in the morning, NOAA will provide a breakfast buffet for all participants as well as regular am/pm coffee/tea breaks as well as daily working lunches.
Equipment
Presently there is no "wireless" in the conference room, but hopefully it will be available in June. In the mean time wired network connections are availble at the conference table. The A/V is built into the conference room.
Transfer from airports to NOAA - Wayne Avenue
Connections between Dulles Airport and NOAA - Wayne Avenue:
There is a bus service "Washington Flyer" from Dulles Airport to the metro station "East Falls Church" connecting to the Washington Metro (map). Using the orange line (direction New Carrollton) and red line (direction Glenmont), the station nearest to NOAA - Wayne Avenue is "Silver Spring".
Connections between BWI (Baltimore) Airport and NOAA - Wayne Avenue:
Metro offers a BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI and the Greenbelt metro station (green line), which directly connnects to the Washington Metro (map) system. Using the green line and then the red line (direction Glenmont), gets you to the station nearest to NOAA - Wayne Avenue, called "Silver Spring".
